iOS 7.1.1 Now Labels Apps with ‘In-App Purchases’ in Top Charts and Featured Sections
If you’ve been browsing through the App Store in iOS 7.1.1, you may have noticed a minor change: Free apps with in-app purchases now list that fact in Top Charts and elsewhere. The change is no doubt in part spurred by the settlement that the company made with the U.S. government over unauthorized in-app purchases; hopefully, it’ll help you recognize which apps might entice your kid to spend their entire allowance (and your paycheck) on Smurfberries.
